trying to create the locs

 I just used the curve alpha brush, changed the alpha to a circle and inflated it on the head to create hair that looks like locs. I tried smoothing it periodically and it might've ruined some of the surface but it's a work in progress. Still needs work but getting there and because he has freeform locs it'll take a minute to learn.
